 Austin Metamorphosis Dance Ensemble (AMDE) is dedicated to the enrichment of the cultural landscape and artistic development of the city of Round Rock and surrounding communities. The company is committed to artistic excellence, masterful teaching, and outreach to a variety of audiences in the greater Round Rock area. Company members also serve as choreographers who challenge each other to find new ways to define and diversify multiple genres of dance. They spread their artistic vision through development and performance of original works. AMDE prides itself on the extensive commitment and involvement of our members, who not only serve as dancers, but are active in all aspects of the organization, including choreography, technical capacities, and governance. Through guest master teachers and choreographers, we provide valuable training in a many styles to help our dancers grow as artists. Many of our dancers go on to top collegiate dance programs and renowned professional dance companies.
